Chris Oyakhilome is an Nigerian pastor, TV host, and writer. He is the president of the Believers' LoveWorld Incorporated, and is also known as Christ Embassy International.

Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first in his family to be born. After his first and second education, he enrolled in Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where the university awarded him an BSc. in Architecture.


AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has awarded an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they are blessed with two children.

Chris Oyakhilome Ministry
While still attending AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his path into the field of ministry. The Believers' LoveWorld fellowship was at the time known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC grew and was the largest of the fellowships on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is home to the headquarters of the church. Believer's LoveWorld is a worldwide organization with millions upon millions of members around the globe, is now called Believers LoveWorld.

Chris Oyakhilome Family In the context of the 2002 the miracles show, BLW became Africa’s most well-known Christian ministry. The broadcast stopped in May 2004, after the former president of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles shouldn't be allowed to continue by churches.



Pastor Chris's Ministry encompasses four areas: publishing ministry; the healing ministry, television ministry; and teaching ministry. He also has created the Pastor Chris Live Global Prayer Network, an atmosphere for miracles, and an healing school.

Future Africa Leaders' Foundation (FALF)
The Future Africa Leaders Foundation was founded to increase and investigate the potential for leadership of Africans. The foundation celebrates and supports young Africans who have shown leadership skills by making a positive difference within their generation. This is accomplished through education, youth empowerment and mentoring.

The foundation recognizes the efforts made by these young leaders by presenting an annual ceremony dubbed The Next Africa Leaders' award. This ceremony takes place on the evening following each new year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena. The winners receive an award from the President of BLW the Reverend Chris Oyakhilome.

The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission for children is a faith-based not-governmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005, the NGO was established to aid the needy, destitute, orphaned, and children who are vulnerable .

These children and their communities benefit from the foundation's participative and sustainable interventions. These include programs for childcare, child development programmes and strengthening of families.

The TraumaCare International Foundation was established to increase the lifespan and health status of communities in the local area. The foundation plans to accomplish this feat through health education as well as advocacy and community-based programs while positioning to provide assistance to national policies on trauma treatment.

The foundation has provided over a thousand first aid safety, emergency response courses. They have trained thousands of teachers, law enforcement officers and caregivers as well road transporters.

Volunteer Medical Corps
The Volunteer Medical Corps, a religious outreach of the church that is dedicated to providing aid materials as well as medical aid and education to internally displaced persons and refugees living in regions that have been affected by natural and man-made catastrophes.

The outreach team includes paramedicsand students and christian workers from across the world. They provide medical assistance as well as relief aid and healthy solutions for health for regions and communities that are in crisis.

BFAM provided many thousands of Rhapsody Bibles to individuals and communities, prisons as well as private and government institutions worldwide. It includes Philippines, Gambia, Ghana and Nigeria. Through a worldwide network of Bible donors and volunteers, the distribution was made possible.
